Duck breast and pears

Once you take the grease away from the duck pieces, the meat is rather lean. It makes a good meal for people concern with calories. Try the duck breast with pear cooked in win a special type of wine.

Ingredients

 480 g duck breast trimmed
 125 ml Monbazillac wine
 100 ml poultry broth
 1 tbsp ginger
 600 g firm pears peeled and cut into 4
 Salt and pepper

Directions

Put the instant pot in mode browning

Make an angled incision in the skin of the duck breast

Salt and pepper

Color the duck breast on the skin side first, 3 minutes per side

Discard the cooking fat and reserve the duck breast

Pour into the vat the Monbazillac wine, scraping well the juices from the meat

Add the rest of the ingredients and the duck breast

Switch the instant pot to pressure cooking mode 5min

Cut the duck breast into thin slices

Serve with the pears Cover with the sauce
