Veal roast with chestnut and shallots

Here is a nice combination that should end up in a sturdy meal. The roast will be mixed up with chestnut and other ingredients. Chestnut will give a good texture and taste to the dish.

Veal roast with chestnut and shallots

Ingredients

 1 roast veal (about 1kg)
 1 can chestnuts
 5 potatoes in large piece
 3 shallots sliced
 1 large onion sliced
  Butter
 250 ml white wine
 50 ml veal stock
 Salt, pepper

Directions

Put the instant pot in browning mode

Brown the meat from all sides in the butter

Add the shallots and onion

Brown 2 to 3 minutes longer

Add the wine, the veal stock the potatoes

Salt, pepper

Switch the instant pot to pressure cooking mode 20min

At the end of cooking, add the can of chestnuts

Switch to browning mode 2 min until the chestnuts are warmed up
