Scallops and sausage with leek and rice side by side

Here is a fancy recipe worth trying. It will take a little time but the result should delight your guest. You mix scallops with sausage before putting them on top of leek and rice. That sounds delicious.

Scallops and sausage with leek and rice side by side

Ingredients

 4 fresh scallops
 ½ chorizo in half rounds
 2 leeks cut into thin slices
 250 ml fresh cream
 Turmeric
 Pepper, salt
 100 g rice
  Water
 Olive Oil

Directions

Put the rice in the instant pot

Cover with water

Put under pressure half the time indicated on the rice package

Take out the rice and reserve

Put the leeks in the steam basket with 200ml of water

Pass the instant pot in pressure cooking mode 6min

Set aside

Empty and dry the tank

Switch the instant pot in mode browning

Fry the scallops in oil for 2min

Add the chorizo

Leave 1min more

Remove the contents of the tank

Put the leeks back in the cooking juice

Add the cream, salt, pepper and, turmeric

Keep warm 3min

Serve the leeks on the plate with the scallops on top
