Scallops are very popular and delicious in any way you fix them. In that recipe as a first course, the scallops are browned light before being blazed. A little bit of cream before serving.
Put the instant pot in mode browning
When it is hot, brown the scallops in butter 3min on each side
Stop browning mode
Pour the whiskey on top and blazed
Add the fresh cream
Adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper
Serve decorated with chopped parsley served in the shells
