Lentils are usually a little bland by itself. Well seasoned, it will taste a lot better. In that recipe, you use some hot mustard and bacon to enhance the dish.

Lentils and mustard

 1 dried lentils
 4 large carrots in small cubes
 2 minced onions
 400 ml cream
 Old-fashione mustard
 750 g bacon
 Water
 1 cube of vegetable broth

Put the instant pot in mode browning

Brown the carrots, onion, and bacon

Empty the tank and set aside

In the tank put the lentils with the vegetable cube

Cover with water

Put the instant pot in pressure mode 10min

At the end of cooking, add the carrot mixture

Add water to have 250ml of liquid in the tank

Put the instant pot in mode pressure cooking 10 minutes

In a bowl, mix the cream and hot mustard

Add it to the lentils mixture

Keep the instant pot in mode warming 2 minutes
