In that recipe, the beef strips will marinate with some Asian spices enhancing the meat. The sour-sweet sauce will confer a very special taste to that dish, a welcome change for the Asian food lover

Beef and red onions

 1.20 kg beef cut into strips
 1 carrot slice for marinade
 5 carrots slices
 1 white onion, minced
 1 tbsp coriander
 3 tbsp vinegar
 12 tbsp soy sauce
 6 tbsp cornstarch
  A little oil
 2 tbsp garlic powder
 2 tbsp ginger powder
 4 red onions, minced
 12 tbsp nuoc-mam
 6 tbsp powder sugar
 1 small can pineapple pieces
 500 ml water

Mix garlic, ginger, half of the cornstarch, soy, nuoc-mam, coriander, carrot, white onion and carrot.

Marinate the beef 30min in the refrigerator, mixing every 10min.

Put the instant pot in mode browning.

Brown the carrots 5min. in a little oil,

Add sugar and vinegar.

Caramelize

Add pineapple pieces (save juice for later)

Remove and save the contents of the bowl

Brown beef with marinade 5min and add pineapple mixture

Mix water, pineapple juice and, remaining cornstarch

Switch instant pot to pressure -cooking mode 20min
